Ren & Samuel

Guess who in this picture? Ren, again, put his hand holding Samuel's back, like what he did to me.

Both of them are good friend since young age, this photo was taken in early Oct 2002, Ren was about two-year plus, and Samuel was about six-month old. Look at them, they were so adorable, looking attentively to the camera. Ren was friendly; Samuel was alert to the camera, staring at the camera, with a lot of curiosity.

Samuel's mom said to me, let them be together, let the friendship continues. Yes, this pure friendship must continue, even though right now, both of them are not living in the same neighbourhood, and not attending the same school.

Ren Mom Roy 2

This is a recent moment that I have with Ren Roy, which I said I want to snap with them again. It is not easy too to get this photo. I rejected many, and choose this one. All are smiling (not like last photo that I posted earlier on)

Seeing our kids grow physically is a rewarding experience; seeing them grow healthily, happily, safely, wisely, and virtuously is also the many hopes of parents.

Ren & Roy

Ren Roy are both showing their happy faces, with their toys. In fact, those toys are not their favorite toys already. They have other taste now, which is Bakugan toys. Roy even asked me whether he can buy Bakugan on every Thursday, at Mun Seng.

Chronologically, these are their peak of favorite toys as according to time: Barney and Berry (the one in the photo), ..., Ultraman, Power Ranger, Pokemon, Ben10, and now Bakugan.

As for me, what ever toys that they like, I just hope that Ren's best 'toy' will be Roy, and vice versa.

Ren

As promised, this is a photo that I took with Ren, holding me from the back. I tried a few times of snapping this position, and this one turn out to be quite satisfactory.

Throughout this effort of getting a good picture with Ren, I learnt a lesson, a precious lesson: Appreciate the bonding of our kids with us. The bonding of wanted to hold or attach to you is getting less when they grown-up.

This is the evidence, which I have to 'beg' Ren for this pose. See, mom is approachable, but Ren is cool.

Ren Mom Roy

This is an interesting photo which I found from my collection, the photo was dated 2004 Jan 6. I enjoyed seeing this old photo, with Ren hugging me from the back, and I carried Roy in my arms, tightly.

The funny face that I showed could be due to Ren holding me too tight, causing me uncomfortable. Anyway, Ren nowadays seldom hold me like that, but Roy will.

One day, I must get them to hold me like this again, :) I miss the touch. I must let them know.

Roy

Roy is my son. He is going to be 6 year-old this December. Now, he is able to express his ideas more by using more choices of language terms in Mandarin and also English, so as Malay language. He said, in his mind, there are more ideas now; he can comment on his elder brother, Ren, by saying that Ren needs to clean his ear (as Ren pretended that he can't hear him); Roy also know how to ask Ren an interesting question: Is Racheal a boy or a girl?

To me, all these developments are new to me. I am very happy to know my boy is now a younger kid already, who can express his ideas better. In the next post, I intend to describe a little bit on Ren, my eldest boy.
